This month's photo shows a Michigan State Police Post located in Alpena, Michigan. This post is one of dozens built in the 1930's and was one of three designs used. All three designs were similar, with only size being the difference. The State Police sold off most of these buildings due to their lack of handicap adaptability.

Today, examples of this style building may still be seen in Blissfield, Erie and Brighton Michigan.
